JOB DESCRIPTION

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is looking for a Digital Web Designer to create and design web pages, features and digital assets for marketing for the Pottery Barn Kid brand.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Digital Web Creative is a dynamic team of talented, digital marketing designers and digital production artists. We work closely with our editorial counterparts to make our website, videos, emails and digital marketing assets come alive with the Pottery Barn Kids brand voice. We also collaborate closely with our cross-functional partners in eCom, Front End, Brand Marketing, Photo Studio and PR to name a few! We are all about sharing creative ideas and supporting each other to not only do our best work, but also to build a strong sense of family and community. Come join us!

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...

* Support Senior Designer and Creative Manager to create seasonal and weekly digital assets for desktop, mobile and emails.
* Design original web pages and features -- take projects from concept to completion while working within the parameters of the brand style guide.
* Support Senior Email Designer with marketing and social campaigns.
* Assist with a variety of email campaigns and templates, including content, promotional, retail, and dynamically driven campaigns.
* Collaborate with and support design team members on Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen Digital Creative teams
* Coordinate and support up-to-date image photo accuracy and consistency across all US and Global digital platforms and websites
* Present designs for approvals and feedback to senior level.
* Maintain design and creative deliverables to schedule, including internal milestones and freelance and vendor milestones.
* Maintain and evolve process as business and creative needs change.
* Continually drive and evolve brand standards for the design of website, emails and marketing assets.
* Manage workflow to meet business and creative deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We're excited about you because...

* You have a 4 year bachelor's degree in Visual, Web or Graphic Design
* Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop
* Experience with Web-based Content Management systems
* Highly proficient in Mac OSX (connecting to servers, organizing files, and sharing documents)
* Experience working cross-functionally across many teams and departments
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organization skills; must be highly detail-oriented
* Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
* 1-2 years of web or graphic design work experience

Technical Competencies (Required)

* Highly Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Sketch
* Clear knowledge of Dreamweaver
* Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and coding
* Microsoft Office programs
