Job Description

Join World Vision as a Digital Producer

01 The Job As a Digital Producer at World Vision USA, you'll be on the front lines with our supporters using words, imagery, and interactivity to produce a transformational digital experience for our supporters. Be a catalyst for up-leveling our client service through the creation and ongoing strengthening of productive working relationships with marketers from across the organization. You'll play a big part in helping them communicate to our supporters in ways that inspire them to join in the battle to end extreme poverty by the year 2030. The role will demand of you the versatility of a Swiss Army knife. You'll create, update, and publish web content in our WordPress CMS. You'll take in a steady stream of requests from our marketers that includes anything from website updates, to eCommerce changes, to email and text campaign setup, and banner ad development. It also includes the miscellaneous quick turn requests on a wide variety of tasks. You'll need to learn a broad array of processes and technologies proactively and take on challenges without being asked. With so much to juggle, you'll need to manage your time and stay on point with details to hit your deadlines. You will often be the last line of defense on exacting standards. This includes brand, editorial, SEO, front-end coding, and user experience standards on every screen. Finally, you will be a dependable member of a cross-functional team that believes collaborating on standout work is serious fun.

02 What success looks like It's simple and super challenging at the same time. 1) You're capable of high-volume capacity and output to keep pace on a sprint by sprint basis with a large volume of work because you leverage your creativity, resourcefulness, and innovation to implement more efficient and streamlined ways to work. 2) You have a track record for producing high-quality work that's delivered on-time because you're highly organized, use detailed checklists, and are found to be a strong collaborator with experts on best practices. 3) You earn high client service ratings by virtue of your proactive communication, effective relationship building, on-time delivery, and high-quality deliverables.

03 Where this job could take your career Working in our Digital Services group at World Vision USA, this job will help you understand how best practice deliverables are brought to market in digital marketing, digital experiences, eCommerce, and offline/online channel marketing. From this role you will have opportunities to pursue advancement in the direction of your choice within different disciplines of digital marketing, that is, Digital Operations, including project and business management. Digital Marketing, including social media, paid, influencer, SEO, or peer-to-peer. Digital Experience, including product management, UX/UI design, user experience research and analytics. Full stack development, including UX/UI development, middle tier web services, and platform/systems engineering.

05 You bring A Bachelor's degree or 8 years of work experience combined with a minimum of 2-4 years of digital production, project management, and/or marketing work experience.

06 Additional skills we're interested in Proficiency in HTML/CSS. Knowledge of mobile first and responsive content strategies. A working understanding of the web development process. Your experience includes working with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or other web/digital advertising analytics and metrics platforms. You are exceptionally organized, adept at prioritizing work, and have at least some level of experience with project management in your past where you've had to keep track of multiple projects and create and drive action plans that result in work being delivered on time. You come with demonstrated experience using agile project management methodologies and tools. You frequently contribute to solutions that solve problems or strengthen our work because of your ongoing commitment to professional development.
