The Digital Portfolio Management Coordinator supports the Digital Portfolio Delivery Manager and performs tasks related to the digital portfolio of projects. The Coordinator provides support in terms of cross-project status reporting, communications, financial management and issues/risk mitigation.

Responsibilities:

Supports the Digital Portfolio Delivery Manager on multiple complex projects.

* Works closely with the Digital Portfolio Delivery Manager and is able to think strategically about how to gather and curate frequently needed information for reporting.
* Prepares communications in the form of decks, reports or other relevant formats.
* Works with Delivery Leads to improve procedures and standards of project and product management.
* Assists with cross-project budget tracking, project plans, and staffing plans.
* Help to raise early of project issues and risks which require coordination across MGTI and Mercer groups.
* Builds, drives, and manages relationships with our senior internal business leaders and ensure their continued alignment, engagement, and achievement of business outcomes
* Engage with key stakeholders including vendors where key delivery areas are outsourced.
* Coordinates and plans with interdependent teams across Business, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, Technology, and PMO organizations

Education (degree / diploma):

* Relevant college/university degree (or equivalent experience required)

Experience:

* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in multiple functional areas which may include: business strategy & development, project management, or management consulting

Knowledge and skills (general and technical):

* A proven track record of individually delivering and managing multiple projects and their associated benefits to agreed deadlines and budgets
* Experience to build strong partnerships with key senior executives and project sponsors down to project teams and clients
* Experience working in an ambiguous environment with unclear project goals and objectives and translating them into clear deliverables to the business
* A proven team leadership background - the ability to motivate teams in challenging environments
* Extensive matrix and line management within a large corporate environment demonstrating effective leadership and mentoring
* Experience challenging, where appropriate, at all levels up to the Executive, to ensure a clear view on the desired business outcome and a timely focus on relevant issues.
* An audience awareness and the understanding of how to effectively negotiate with key stakeholders and deliver a win - win solution to difficult situations
* An in-depth knowledge and understanding of large corporate operations and dynamics relating to a project / program environment
* The ability to quickly identify at any given time the progress and risks across multiple project portfolios and understand the action that needs to be applied
* Strong Facilitation Stills to drive decision making; Facilitates shared participation in design and delivery of programs and projects.
* Can present complex issues, information, proposals as well as data in an easily understood format - competent and flexible use of visibility to drive stakeholder behaviors.
* Strong communication skills both verbally and written; ability to create executive level/C-Suite briefings, updates, decks
* Strong analytical skills and basic financial acumen
* Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Program

Other requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training):

* Project Management Methodology certification desired · Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma or similar methodology certification a plus.
