We are looking for a Digital Forensics Security Specialist to join our team in Arlington, VA.

What you'll do

Work with one of our strategic partners in the shaping and execution of a forensics program. The program requires a well-versed digital forensics analyst with experience in MacOS, Windows, Linux, and iOS forensics to support incident response and investigations.

* Duties will include maintaining tool kits, establishing and executing policies and procedures, digital evidence acquisition and analysis.

What you'll bring

* Excellent working knowledge of computer hardware and networking, as well as standard forensics tools and digital evidence acquisition methodologies. At least 5 years of total experience, with at least 2 of which spend recovering and examining data from computers and other electronic devices in order to investigate and respond to IT security incidents, and to provide analysis for incident response and investigation
* Experience analyzing system logs, network traffic, and forensic data sources
* Memory, network traffic, registry and log analysis
* Experience with some or all of the following tools: X-Ways, F-Response, Cuckoo Sandbox, Volatility, Wireshark, IDA Pro
* Malware triage and analysis
* Bachelor's degree in an IT related field preferred
* Experience or interest in penetration testing a plus; there is a potential for on-the-job cross-training in penetration testing for the right candidate.
