Candidate Specification

This person will be assigned to liaise directly with project teams, business units and practices in this role. This position will also require collaboration with IT colleagues, external partners and technology vendors, and other stakeholders to successfully deliver assignments. This person will be deployed as an embedded project resource as needed, to help with standard technology implementations or help support the use of more advanced technology and systems on specific projects.

Qualifications and Experience:

* A Bachelor's degree in AEC or Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
* A professional engineering license is a plus
* Minimum 6 years' postgraduate experience as a / or working with project engineers or project managers
* Minimum 4 years' experience in a role requiring the management and delivery of project work
* Minimum 2 years of hands-on work experience using current or progressive technology and systems
* Strong background in Microsoft, Autodesk, Bentley and ESRI tools and systems
* Engineering application experience, specifically with ProjectWise, Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks and BIM360

Must be willing to travel if necessary

Job Description

The primary role for the digital delivery manager will be to develop the plans for and manage the production and delivery of BIM and GIS data on major projects. You will be assisting with planning and startup of new jobs to ensure the best tools and system framework is deployed. Another key element will be to lead and guide project practitioners in the successful application and use of more advanced BIM, GIS and information management platforms.

Knowledge and Skills:

* Be able to prepare a digital delivery plan for infrastructure projects
* Engage with all appropriate parties to deliver the projects and assignments
* Troubleshoot issues and develop workarounds during project work
* Work closely with project teams using various BIM and GIS tools and systems
* Provide training / tutorials, demonstrations & presentations to users on new tools
* Keep up to date with technical and industry developments
* In depth knowledge of ISO19650 standards
* Detailed knowledge of model-based design (BIM) protocols, standards and software
