Job Description

The Digital Business Analyst will manage and coordinate eComm requirement activities from beginning to end using agile best practices focused on strategic/analytical assessment, requirements gathering, iteration identification, problem solving and project management.

The Digital Business Analyst must possess subject matter expertise in both the business and digital. The position requires the ability to understand the business sufficiently to be able to document requirements and use cases so they can easily be executed by development.

Attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving skills and critical thinking are essential. In addition, being a self-starter/motivator, having a proactive, agile and strategic mindset are a must

WHAT YOU WILL DO

* Participate in Iterative/Agile development of solutions based on acceptance criteria and design.
* Understand critical business processes supporting business, interview internal and external customers to gather requirements.
* Elicit, capture and analyze the project's business requirements into user stories, detailed functional specifications, user interface specifications, and general system requirements.
* Participate in all aspects of IT Agile project development; including Scrum, Backlog Grooming and Sprint Planning & Demos to ensure projects are continuously moving forward.
* Identify gaps in data requirements between as-is and to-be states. Model the data requirements to ensure that the data will support the new solution.
* Collaborate with UX designers, developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs while not impacting customer experience.
* Strive for excellence in project delivery, thinking in terms of product development

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

* 5+ years experience in business process analysis
* 3+ years experience operating in an Agile environment, writing user stories and functional requirements documents.
* 3+ years working on Mobile Web and Mobile App projects.- iOS and Android.
* 1+ years working on Responsive Design websites
* Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Visio and Project.
* Working knowledge of common tools for managing Agile User Stories and Sprints such as JIRA and IBM Rational toolsets
* Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
* Working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Project Methodologies.
* Retail and broad understanding of eCommerce Systems, including Mobile
* 5+ years experience with creating documentation for communication with varied audiences
* Deep understanding of business requirements elicitation and how to use this data to create the appropriate programs/projects.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, effectively negotiate, and confer with member of our organization at all levels.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, interpersonal and relationship management skills (in both technical and business settings).
* Self-motivated, creative, passionate and able to acclimate into a fast-paced & dynamic environment.
* Working knowledge of all aspects of Change Management, Quality Assurance and Testing, Requirements Gathering, Project Management, and Systems Analysis and Design.
* Self-directed and independent worker who can also lead cross-functional and cross-organizational projects.
* Experience with Business Intelligence & reporting tools
* Advanced skills with all Microsoft Office Software for the creation of management reports, presentations, and analysis.
* Skilled with merging diverse data from different platforms, formats and environments.

WHAT WE VALUE
