JOB DESCRIPTION:

Raytheon is seeking a talented and passionate Requirements Engineer to join our DevOps Transformation Team. As a Requirements Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our team and programs in their journey to adopt DevOps and Agile methodologies as a new way of working. You will viewed as a leader providing expertise in the evaluation of system requirements, architectures, models, designs, and release/deployment plans.

Must be US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Leading end-to-end analysis to determine which requirements may already be satisfied by existing systems and which requirements need to be allocated to new or existing systems
* Experience working in a DevOps Agile environment with continuous integration/delivery service requirements
* Developing work effort estimates for sprint deliverables for each requirement selected at sprint development cycles in the MVP
* Leading and defining acceptance criteria for automated tests that are used to verify functional and non-functional program requirements Providing oversite and review of historical requirement sets and advise on omissions/duplications and report anomalies to the DevOps team and or program personnel
* Facilitate and lead the elicitation of requirements with Customers, Programs leadership, and DevOps teams, etc. to ensure prioritization
* Lead and define project requirements with DevOps personnel by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming Dojo teams; establishing project budgets
* Develop process/control changes by identifying gaps/issues/areas for improvement; writing improved processes
* Improves system requirements process by studying current practices; designing and implementing efficiency improvements

REQUIRED SKILLS:

* Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
* Proven track record of monitoring testing to ensure user requirements fully meet the business needs
* 10+ Years as a Systems Engineer on Large Scale Mission Critical System of Systems Development and Integration Program
* Experience with Cucumber/Gherkin or comparable test automation framework
* Hands-one experience implementing data analysis tools, evaluating various types of data, evaluating various datasets, and determining practical solutions to data challenges
* Hands-one experience implementing data analysis tools, evaluating various types of data, evaluating various datasets, and determining practical solutions to data challenges
* Hands-on experience with operating system scripting, programming languages, Agile project management practices
* Knowledge of data modeling techniques and application
* Systems engineering experience that includes systems architecture development and software development
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Excellent customer and cross-business relationships
* Very strong organizational and teaming skills

DESIRED SKILLS:

* Hands-on experience using systems or enterprise modeling tools



REQUIRED EDUCATION (including Major):

B.S. /B.A. Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field with 10+ years of experience
