Amazon Last Mile and Routing Technology group is responsible for developing and operating a global technology platform that enables reliable delivery of shipments possible across-the-world or across-the-city via a heterogeneous network with multiple constraints. This self-service platform and associated mobile applications are designed to centralize management of delivery providers and match demand with the most efficient delivery method. This platform is responsible for handling millions of shipments everyday with delivery times as aggressive as one hour with Prime Now! In addition to millions of Amazon customers who receive their shipments via this platform, traditional delivery service providers, independent delivery service providers and crowd-sourced delivery service providers are customers of this platform through Amazon Flex.

Amazon's DevOps engineering support for Logistics and routing technology is responsible to own and provide operational support for last mile delivery service, mobile applications on iOS and Android to provide a reliable and efficient last mile delivery experience to customers and delivery associates worldwide. The Last Mile and Routing Technology support team in Seattle is looking for a DevOps Engineer who will provide front level support for all incoming production software, Infrastructure issues and Delivery Operational issues dealing with these software services and tools. Your solutions will affect our customers directly! High Impact production issues often require coordination between multiple Development, Operations and IT Support groups, so you get to experience a breadth of impact with various groups. Primary responsibilities include , diagnosing and fixing production software issues, developing monitoring solutions, performing software maintenance and configuration, implementing the fix for internally developed code (Perl, , C/C++ and JAVA), performing SQL queries, updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges.

You should be detail , have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, able to juggle multiple tasks at once, able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure. You are able to identify problems before they happen and implement solutions that detect and prevent outages. You have ability to accurately prioritize projects, make sound judgments, work to improve the customer experience, and get the right things done.
