We are looking for a passionate and patient individual to join our team, this individual will work closely with our development team to manage existing code deployment workflow, automate quality control process, monitor and improve source control and development environments.

Responsibilities:

* Manage the computing and database servers and clusters


* Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools


* Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with developers to implement those fixes


* Build, maintain, and execute automated CI/CD pipelines for development, QA, and deployments


* Backup, recover and optimize databases


* Actively looking for best practices and perform security and compliance audits on AWS infrastructure and local networks


* Continuously improve our DevOps and infrastructure to be highly available and scalable (i.e. via containerizing, autoscale, etc.)



In addition, you are responsible for any immediate fire-fighting duties in the organization or assignments by the manager

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field required


* Experience with Amazon Web Services


* Experience with SQL


* Software development or scripting experience in a professional environment


* Aptitude to independently learn new technologies


* Excellent oral and written English communication skills



Preferred Qualifications:

* Strong background in Linux/UNIX (Debian/Ubuntu, AWS Linux)


* 3+ years of working experience using cloud-based web services (AWS)


* Knowledge of AWS Access Control Level: (users, groups, roles, policies, VPC, subnets, route tables)


* Strong experience with MySQL, RDS, Aurora


* Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment automation (CloudFormation, CodeDeploy, Bitbucket Pipelines, Ansible, Jenkins)


* Monitoring and Metrics gathering (DataDog, Runscope, New Relic)


* Familiarity with Linux Containers and Virtualization for infrastructure orchestration (Docker)


* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum


* Familiarity with Salesforce CRM
