Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching a DevOps Developer to join our Internal Application DevOps team, which is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of internal applications at Applied Systems. In this role, you will be responsible for "full stack" .Net development for the Applied Cloud, and internal business units.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Works closely within an Agile team to complete user stories and defects within time box
* Works with members of the business to develop and improve applications
* Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of multi-tier applications
* You will deploy applications to the data centers using the Octopus Deploy automated release management tool.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS JOB

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience
* 5+ years of distributed application development, with an emphasis on server experience, within a team environment
* Demonstrable proficiency writing application and server code in .Net (C#, VB.Net, or ASP.Net) in Visual Studio, and SQL Server
* Experience with automated build/deploy, CI/CD, middleware development, & OOP
* Experience in any of the following a plus:
* Aspect Oriented Programming
* Test Driven Development
* HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular
* Octopus Deploy automated release management
* Team City
* RabbitMQ middleware
