Job Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

* Help create/improve DevOps strategy in a mixed environment of Linux (RHEL) and Windows servers and future implementation of AWS/Azure cloud strategy of the government.
* Roll Out of Chef and InSpec at Enterprise Level for Configuration Management, Infrastructure Automation, and Compliance as Code.
* Setup procedures for middleware deployments via Chef
* Provide Systems Administration and Software Configuration Management (SCM), Build/Release Management, DevOps, and Change/Incident Management.
* Establish release automation for java and .NET technologies to achieve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
* Setup Full Stack Deployment's from single orchestration point, on-prem PoC.
* Promote the integration of new technologies and solutions that will improve the organization's capabilities while leading to lower total cost of operation.
* Assist Developers with Deployment Lifecycle for all Applications currenting using the CI/CD Pipeline
* Assist Developers with on-boarding process for deployment automation.

Technical Skills:

* CI/CD Stack: Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, Chef
* Testing Stack: Selenium, JMeter
* Scripting Requirements: Ruby, Python, PowerShell
* Must be able to pass 10 year background investigation, US Citizen only, continuious drug testing required while employment is active.
