We are seeking a Full-time DevOps Engineer to join our team in Culver City office. In this role you will be responsible for participating in a variety of challenging systems and software development projects, in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidates should have a passion for DevOps and a desire to be involved in designing, building, and supporting highly scalable web-based systems.

Role responsibilities

* Improve one of our primary build and deployment systems
* Perform build and deployment requests from QA engineers
* Minimize the effort to complete the build / deployment requests
* Setup new and maintain existing environments
* Respond, mostly via Slack, to general build and environment related questions

Required Skills

* Linux experience (core utilities, telnet, netstat, tcpdump, chroot, ssh, bash)
* Experience with one of the popular automation systems (Jenkins, CloudBees, Travis CI)
* Experience with configuration management / automation system (Puppet, SaltStack, Ansible or Chef)
* Git basics (branching, merging, tagging)

Preferred Experience

* Linux (advanced concepts, such as, IRQ balancing)
* Practical knowledge of network and security related concepts (TCP, UDP, RTP, sRTP, SIP, DNS, SSL, TLS, VTun)
* Network storage (Enterprise iSCSI storage solutions, Multipath)
* Virtual networking (Ipvsadm)
* Web Servers (Nginx/Apache/NodeJs)
* Software Load Balancers (Haproxy/Marathon-lb/Edge-LB)
* Hardware Load Balancers
* Containerization (Docker, Containerd, rkt)
* Database operation (MySQL, Redis, Couchbase, Hbase, CockroachDB)
* Monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic/Kibana)
* AWS (EC2, VPC)
* Atlassian (Jira API, Crucible)
* Python, Perl, Groovy, Go or other popular scripting languages
* Distributed stores (Zookeeper, ETCD, Consul, Apache Kafka, HDFS, Druid, Vault by HashiCorp)
