Developer, Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) (Valuation and Business Modeling - Technology) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Chicago, IL.

Develop analytics solutions for clients to structure, quantify and implement complex financial decisions including acquisitions, strategic options, investment appraisal, contract evaluation and program assessment. Leverage SQL server platform and integrated applications and tools to develop and execute innovative solutions that enable enhanced collaboration, data-driven analysis, and decision analytics. Leverage web development techniques to create responsive user friendly interfaces and rich applications. Develop reports and analytics using business intelligence tools to support client decisions and track mergers and acquisitions activities. Deliver online solutions for purposes including strategic planning; mergers and acquisitions; investment appraisal; financial accounting and tax planning.

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 4 years of work experience.

Must have 4 years of experience utilizing quantitative and qualitative best practices in the development and review of analytics models and solutions.

Must have 4 years of experience developing and executing innovative solutions utilizing ETL, data-driven analysis, advanced reporting, and decision analytics related to major strategic, financial, and operational decisions

Must have 4 years of experience utilizing HTML, .Net, JavaScript, SQL, and SQL Server tools to create robust and flexible tools and reports.

Must have 2 years of experience in at least two of the following: Bootstrap, AngularJS, Microsoft Azure, PowerBI, Spotfire, Tableau, or PowerPivot.

Must have 2 years of experience supervising technical development teams.

Must have 2 years of experience consulting in a client facing client service role.

Must have 2 years of experience with a formal modeling and analytics solutions practice within an investment banking, commercial banking, accounting, or consulting firm.

Must have 1 year of experience in project management for engagements and engagement related budgets;

Must have 1 year of experience leading teams, including projects and engagement leadership, goal setting, and performance reviews.

Requires domestic and regional travel up to 75% to serve client needs.
