Job Summary

Roblox China is looking for a community technical lead to own the technical support relationship with our young developer community. Our young developers create their own content and publish them across all supported platforms. The developer relations team works to drive developers ecosystem success with engineering direction and support on our platforms.

As a community technical lead, you will be helping to build and scale our developers' ecosystem, coordinating Roblox resources to respond to developer emergencies, working with developers to surface issues and provide feedback, and driving constant improvement of their work. This is a 'more technical' role within the developer relations team.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Computer science, engineering degree or equivalent experience
* 3+ years managing technical programs/communities, open source projects, or similar developer groups
* Experience working in developer support and/or developer relations
* Ability to discuss technical product development and technical requirements that enable program delivery with developers, anticipate technical issues, and use technical judgment to help solve problems
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Detail-oriented: capable of managing complexity with many demand channels
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate as a member of a team and work toward team goals
* Native Chinese, Fluency in English

You Will:

* Own the technical support relationship with the developer community
* Help the developer understand our technology and make developers more successful
* Be the first point of contact for technical inquiries from developers
* Mentor and serve as a technical resource for the developer community, assisting in the resolution of complex problems
* Monitor developer satisfaction and drive the resolution of critical developer issues
* Maintain a keen understanding of technology training trends, development, and best practices
