Job Description

Summary:

Neuberger Berman is looking for a software engineer to help evolve and develop the technology stack utilized by the fixed income business. This person will work alongside business stakeholders, business analysts and other software engineers to create technology solutions for the business.

Responsibilities:

* Develop robust, architecturally sound solutions for the fixed income front office teams
* Execute the firm's strategic investment technology strategy
* Manage the relevant technology streams of firm's larger initiatives
* Drive future state technology architecture utilizing cloud technologies where possible
* Collaborate on architectures and solution design with other developers and conduct code-reviews
* Seamlessly partner with Application Service Delivery group, who have accountability for Delivery & Service Management
* Integrate third party applications with the broader estate

Requirements:

* BS or BA Degree (5+ years) or equivalent work experience
* Understanding of fixed income asset classes
* Broad, hands-on experience using C# and/or python
* Strong understanding of relational databases
* Ability to work with third party vendors and applications
* Experience developing on AWS or Azure is a plus
* Experience managing a vendor relationship is a plus
* Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment a plus
* Strong oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
* Strong sense of professional pride and individual accountability
