Job Description Summary:
Under general supervision, the position is responsible for the support, deployment, and life cycle management of end user computing technologies.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
* Provides tier 2 support for end users including hardware and software issues by troubleshooting, identifying root cause, and implementing the appropriate solution.
* Escalates more complex or specialized service requests and incidents to the relevant teams or department.
* Deploys hardware and software to end users by understanding business requirements and technology standards.
* Determines and executes tasks to support technology life cycle.
* Participates in Desktop Technician projects by performing delegated desktop support and installation tasks.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, or Engineering, or related field, or suitable combination of education, experience and training; plus 2 years of experience in Information Technology.
Preferred Qualification:
A+ Certification
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Certification
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Experience working with a ticketing system, such as Service Manager, Service Center, Service Now, Remedy, etc
Ability to lift at least 40lbs
Must be willing to work schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm; be on call every 9 weeks for one week at a time, including evenings & weekends

Responsibilities:
Deploys hardware and software to end users by understanding business requirements and technology standards, Determines and executes tasks to support technology life cycle, Escalates more complex or specialized service requests and incidents to the relevant teams or department, Participates in and assists in managing Desktop Technician projects by performing desktop support and installation analysis and delegating desktop tasks to Desktop Technicians personnel, Performs incident prevention activities by identifying and communicating systemic issues to relevant Engineering and Technology teams, Provides tier 2 support for end users including advanced hardware and software issues by troubleshooting, identifying root cause, and implementing the appropriate solution
