Position Description: The Desktop Support Technician works across a broad range of technologies and liaises across multiple areas of the business to support incidents, problems and requests. Responsible for answering IT requests via phone, email, live chat or instant message and explaining solutions in technical and non-technical terms.

Your Day-to-Day:

* Builds exceptional relationships and rapport with customers by maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude at all times
* Provides exceptional customer service and support for all technical related issues
* Troubleshoots and maintains workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, phones, etc.)
* Configures desktops for new users and instructs on access to company systems including, email, desktop applications, and internal applications
* Creates and maintains technical documents and knowledge base articles
* Provides technical training and guidance to customers as needed
* Performs all other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Team:

* High School graduate with 0-2 years of IT technical support experience required
* 2-year degree in Computer Information Systems or related field preferred
* Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 & Mac OSX preferred
* Experience with Gmail and Google Apps (Google Drive, Docs, etc.)
* Excellent customer service, both over the phone and face-to-face
* Ability to clearly relay information, both oral and written, to coworkers and management
* Availability for afterhours on-call support may be required
* Positive attitude with great communication skills
* Licensed driver with acceptable driving record
