NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Desktop Support to join our team in Farmers Branch, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

NTT Data Services is seeking to hire a Desktop Support professional to be based in our Farmers Branch, TX office.

General:

* Must have 3-5+ years of experience
* Motivated technician with proven troubleshooting skills
* Proven customer service skills -Proven ability to learn from, and teach, peers and to research solutions independently.
* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Must be able to effectively multi-task and work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
* Must be able to effectively communicate with customers over the phone, in person and via email while providing excellent customer service.
* Familiarity with workgroup and domain environments, and general networking troubleshooting

Workstation:

* Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with workstation hardware, including assembly, troubleshooting and components replacement.
* Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with installation, configuration and troubleshooting of workstation operating systems: Windows 7, Win 8 & Win 10. Mac OS experience a plus.
* Ability to troubleshoot Operating System, file system and general workstation issues.
* Experience with installing, managing and maintaining local and networked printers, including basic printer troubleshooting.
* Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with installing, configuring and troubleshooting MS Office (v2010+, including O365), Internet Explorer, Symantec anti-virus applications, Windows Updates and printing utilities.
* Ability to interface with Line-of-Business Application and Hardware vendor's technical support for level 1 troubleshooting.

Required Skills/Experience:

* MS Windows, MS Office, Symantec Anti-Virus, Executive support
* 2 + years of desktop support experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

* Symantec PGP & Microsoft BitLocker (laptop encryption), Symantec DLO, Mac OS, BMC Remedy IT Service Mgmt Suite, Cisco VPN, MDT, VMWare / Parallels, AirWatch smartphone setups & support, A+ Certification. Telephony & networking.
