Design and Development Leader - Computer

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. is seeking a Design and Development Leader - Computer (multiple openings) for its office in Boston, MA to be responsible to architect efficient, scalable, and cost-effective systems upon which world-class lighting products can easily be built. The position requires, at a minimum, a Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical, Embedded Software, or Embedded Systems Engineering; a Bachelor's degree level grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 or acceptable foreign equivalent (GPA); and five years' progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The position also requires five years' industry experience in the design of consumer and/or residential products; strong fundamental knowledge of embedded systems design; familiarity and hands-on experience with various digital and analog circuits; strong working knowledge of good design techniques; and experience working in teams comprising multiple disciplines, like software development and electrical and mechanical engineering.
