Job Description

Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Deployment Support Specialist to work in any of our office locations in WA, OR, or CA.

We are seeking a Deployment Support Specialist to be responsible for delivering business value by leading and providing assessment and analysis of end user devices in support of affiliation, integration, and Epic deployment activities. Takes the lead in end user device project work, supporting field service teams, technical and project leadership, application teams and other teams as needed. Works within the project to escalate or resolve issues to ensure that the projects stay on track. All work will be completed in accordance with the Providence St. Joseph philosophy, mission, and core values.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

* Perform analysis, planning and deployment of existing end user device technology, including personal computing, networking, and bio-med integration, in support of mergers, acquisitions, affiliations, Community Technologies products, Epic implementations, or similar efforts.


* Perform assessment activities which include identifying, assessing, designing, implementing, and supporting end user device change initiatives across the enterprise.


* Provide or contribute to necessary data, information and process documentation as needed to transition end user device support and operational processes to other IS teams and operations staff.


* Provide support and escalation for IS teams in resolving project related end user device issues. Participates in the creation of documentation that details resolutions for future use.


* Coordinate across the organization to drive enterprise, end user device standards.


* Understand and apply existing use cases in assessment activities to identify end user device gaps. Creates technology gap reports based on assessment and application of use cases. Identifies and assists in development of new use cases. Acts as a resource to operational support teams during deployment and testing of equipment; coordinates with appropriate individuals.



Required qualifications for this position include:

* Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Healthcare or similar field or equivalent educ/experience.


* 5 years of hands on technical support of IT infrastructure and/or end user computing.



Preferred qualifications for this position include:

* Experience with Epic end user technology
