Deployment Project Manager

Job Description

The Deployment Project Manager position reports to the Manager of Deployment Services and is responsible for leading the implementations of the CASHNet Payment Suite at higher education institutions. Essential Responsibilities (Included but are not limited to):

* Lead the implementation of hosted payment application suite in combination with other team members.
* Oversee the technical integration with the institution's ERP system.
* Liaise with Deployment Specialists and Deployment Engineers to report issues and perform testing
* Function as a subject matter expert in all aspects of product configuration and functionality, as well as client best practices, both within the department and externally
* Assist departmental management in keeping department processes, procedures, and documentation updated
* Manage at least 8 deployment projects plus occasional internal projects simultaneously, maintaining requirement lists, meeting project timelines, and providing daily status updates to senior management.
* Assist with onsite customer setup and training classes (up to 25% travel).
* Maintain all project status documentation for management and financial reporting purposes

* 5 years experience managing software deployment projects
* Outgoing professional personality with advanced written and oral communication skills.
* Proven training, problem solving and organizational skills.
* Experience providing superior customer service and teamwork.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
* Ability to work independently with little direction while adhering to internal and external project timelines
* Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, computer science or related area or exceptional relevant work experience.

Desired Skills

* Experience with higher education business processes and services
* Understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
* Familiarity with the organization and structure of higher education software like ERP and portals
* Experience with higher education vendors such as PeopleSoft, Blackboard, CBORD, Ellucian, or Jenzabar.
