Are you experienced with Delphi OR have a strong C++/C# background with an interest in learning and working with Delphi?

YOU CAN EXPECT TO:

* Design, development, and implementation of the StorePoint product.
* Interact daily with other team members to ensure that a quality product is delivered in a timely manner.
* Partner with cross-functional Business and Technology teams to drive complex program roadmaps/schedules involving multiple contributing teams.
* Quickly and effectively identify and clarify the critical few issues that need action and drive appropriate decisions and actions.
* Participate in discussions with customer and/or product management to ensure products add value & meet customer needs
* Ensure code is reviewed to address issues, using root cause analyses to eliminate them in future
* Collaborate with leaders and peers to address quality issues
* Look for areas where the team should design beyond scope if necessary to build right solution for a product
* Contribute to the development of code that is supportable, self-identify problems and facilitate investigation
* Drive application of SW development lifecycle with the team
* Advise others on SW Engineering standards and emerging best practices
* Provide support / guidance for more junior SW Engineers around effective application of SW dev lifecycle & develop industry leading solutions for NCR's customers and around more complex problem resolution
* Enable maintenance & integration of code to effectively diagnose issues within the SW
* Identify patterns of issues, root causes and appropriate resolution to systems or processes
* Utilize a range of strategies, techniques & tools to investigate possible resolutions to solve increasingly complex issues
* Investigate new strategies, techniques & tools for troubleshooting complex systems including hardware and software systems
* Research new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies and analyze their application to current configuration management needs.
* Define and execute processes of branching, merging, and continuous integration in source code management
* Create and maintain project tasks, schedules & issues using Jira and Agile
* Collaborate and proactively follow up with customers to obtain desired outcomes.
* Stay current on external trends to design programs for team to provide excellent service to NCR customers.
* Other duties as assigned.

YOU HAVE:

* Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Discipline or equivalent work experience
* 2+ years of experience in an information-technology related occupation.
* 2+ years of experience with Software development lifecycle and version control systems
* 2+ years of Delphi experience
* Strong interest in developing with Delphi
* 2+ years of object-oriented programming experience
* 2+ years of experience producing technical designs for software applications
* 2+ years of experience with design patterns
* 2+ years of Windows COM technology

YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:

* POS or retail industry knowledge
