Delivery Leader, Application Development, Clinical

The Delivery Leader, Application Development, Clinical is responsible for highly complex enterprise-wide technology solutions consisting of multiple work streams and/or projects that support the achievement of HF's business objectives. He/she is accountable for delivering end-to-end technology solutions, in line with strategic business objectives and priorities and provides technical insight, oversight, strategic context, direction and leadership to the teams involved. The incumbent will oversee project execution, resource deployment and overall coordination of efforts to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to budget with quality outcomes. Partnering closely with the business, corporate project management office and technology teams, he/she ensures business needs are clearly understood and the technology implemented meets the expectations of the business stakeholders.

This particular role within the Application Development team will be a mentor/leader of one or more Clinical Project teams such as, TruCare (COTS), or Hyland, or the delivery team supporting our HEDIS platform.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Apply technical thought leadership in service of delivering enterprise-wide technology solutions.
* Ensure applications are supportable, achieve business objectives and anticipated benefits, are in line with reference architecture and meet security/availability/disaster recovery standards.
* Work with business to understand the overarching business strategy and objectives in order to develop technology solutions
* Identify the implications to application(s) under responsibility and plan appropriate responses
* Accountable to the business and IT leadership for successful service delivery
* Establish and maintain IT leadership and business partnerships
* Determine the scope of enhancements and/or change requests from the business
* Prioritize and manage development and implementation of enhancements and/or change requests by fostering collaboration with the business
* Work with business partners to adhere to and meet the requirements of the governance process.
* Position team to communicate effectively with the business

* Identify technical support resources to provide production support, resolve issues, develop systems software and staff relevant projects
* Other duties as assigned

Highly preferred requirements:

* Strong breadth of knowledge in modern software technologies, including, but not limited to Pega or Mulesoft and understand and practiced established Salesforce development standards and best practices.
* Management of medium (5+) to large teams and significant ($1M+) budgets

Minimum Qualifications:

* This particular Delivery Leader role requires some experience mentoring the delivery of Clinical application.
* Typically requires extensive relevant experience in systems and applications management including systems / application design
* Strong project management and team management skills e.g. planning, budgetary control, people management etc.
* Experience in implementing quality guidelines, standards and procedures
* Strong knowledge of professional services vendors, and outsourcing business models and tools
* Passion to lead successful team efforts and projects exceeding expectations
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or University.
