Are you a recent college graduate with a degree in Information Technology (or a related field) and have a couple years of professional IT experience under your belt? We currently have an opportunity for a Database Specialist to join our Corporate IT team in our Canton, MA office, located at 150 Royall Street.

What you will do:

* Use logical data models to create and maintain physical database designs
* Monitor the capacity and performance for databases to ensure their reliability, efficiency, cost effectiveness, and required functionality
* Identify opportunities to improve database performance using standard identifying tuning measures
* Provide database related consultation services to customers, application areas, and other technical support areas.



Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field
* 2-3 years' experience in a corporate IT environment
* Ability to provide periodic on-call support
* Travel within US and Canada (minimal)
