Job Description

As a key member of a cutting-edge security product company, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to below.

Responsibilities:

* Troubleshooting and resolving problems with the database
* Install and upgrade to the latest releases
* Performance tuning and debottlenecking
* Responsible for integrity and security of the database
* Monitoring performance and managing configuration parameters to provide fast query responses to front-end users
* Installation and testing of new databases as well as patching of existing live databases
* Ensuring that storage, archiving, back-up and recovery procedures are functioning correctly

Required Qualification:

* 5+ years of experience managing Oracle databases & technologies (Oracle 12cR1/R2, Oracle Multitenant CDB/PDBs architecture; ASM, VPD, Tablespace Encryption, Dataguard, etc.)
* 3+ years of experience in NoSQL Data Storage Systems (Cassandra, Redis, Elastic Search)
* Capacity planning, monitoring, HA of Oracle and Cassandra
* Ability to plan development activities meticulously, identifying dependencies and dedicatedly work towards a resolution
* Knowledge of GIT; Gerrit; Jira
* Shell/Perl/Python scripting is an added advantage
* Good analytical & problem-solving skills
* Good communication skills to crisply and accurately report program status
* Ability to work cohesively in a team- and project-based environments; as well as demonstrate independent research and problem-solving
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
