Job Description
This position will assist in the oversight of the replacement design, construction, equipment acquisition, and installation and disposition phases of the FAA New York (N90) Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON), located on Long Island, NY. Specifically, the position will be responsible for the creation of and management of various databases and document collection/sharing systems (SharePoint-based) that will help store and manage critical project information and documents. The position will be responsible for the collection of initial customer requirements, and use those requirements to design, develop, modify and maintain required programs to support operational and end user requirements. Management of user permissions will be part of the build. The system shall collect and track information, and may require custom workflows for the management of project deliverables. The position will also be responsible for creating custom reporting of project information. In general, this position will make recommendations on security, interrelationships, configuration management, Document Management, Records Management, Operations Management, process management, and Knowledge management regarding project information. Lastly, responsibilities will include customer support, technical consultation, briefings and training to functional users, designers, and program managers.
This position is a full time position at the FAA Eastern Service Area Regional Office in Jamaica, NY.
