AA Degree in AA or Certificate with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with database management OR a BS degree in related area. OR Minimum of 10 year(s) of experience in working with database management with no educational requirement.
Autonomy, good self-starter, and problem-solving abilities. Experience required with MS Word, Excel Helpful (but not mandatory) to have MS Access user skills. Duties:
Assess quality assurance and provide data entry for chemical and biological monitoring data submitted by over 300 drinking water systems. Evaluate and enter compliance data. Ensure data is entered properly. Present reports to staff on delinquent water systems. Maintain an electronic and paper file management system. Occasional phone calls and correspondence with drinking water systems and laboratories regarding quality assurance and missing data. Recommend systems improvements.

Other: Internal training required by all employees such as computer security. Training by EPA employees as needed.
