Database Analyst/Programmer

* Clearance:Must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain a polygraph level clearance after hire

* Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience within a related field

Position Overview:

Supports the Installations Operations Office (SIO), Property Management Division (SIOP), Total Asset Management team (TAM) require Database Analyst/Programmer Level 2, National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) Campus East (NCE) at US Government facilities in the Springfield, VA area. The contractor shall provide support for the management of accountable property across multiple assets types assigned to the NGA mission.

Responsibilities:

All of the following duties include but are not limited to the following tasks:

* Create and assist in developing logistics policies and processes for Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E).
* Analyze and monitor contracts, Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR), or other obligations/reimbursement documentation and support documentation for 1000s of assets being processed into National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), verifying that all financial data and property coming into NGA is accounted for in PeopleSoft Assess Management (PSAM) System.
* Maintain and a repeatable process for the tracking and reporting of the facility office's multiple lines of accounting.
* Administer and track the asset record due-in process (create, reconcile, report, monitor, and close).
* Gather data on NGA capital assets to be used for financial reporting to the U.S. Government.
* Monitor capital improvement, real property, information technology (IT) systems, and software systems projects.
* Research/collect/prepare capitalized asset packages and disposed capitalized asset packages.
* Process asset delivery reports, asset found reports, and asset transfer-in reports, creating asset records in the PSAM System.
* Provide expertise for TAM Asset Record Reporting, conduct data maintenance and reconciliation of asset records to include related financial information.
* Maintain Accountable Property records and supporting documentation, suitable for audit, and adhere to internal controls.
* Create and assist in developing logistics policies and processes for Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E).
* Prepare TAM System reports, Monitor Acquisition Team Monthly Summary Report, briefings and assist in the creation of reporting and metrics.

Required Qualifications:

* Must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain a polygraph level clearance after hire
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within a related field
* 3-6 years of related experience with Logistics, Asset Management, or supply management.
* Proficiency with MS Office suite to include Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
* Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
* Demonstrated experience interacting with internal/external customers.
* Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel Applications.

Desired Qualifications:

* Must be able to communicate with customers to determine requirements, work independently, and learn quickly.
* Working knowledge of the concepts, principles, laws and regulations that govern the acquisition, maintenance, transfer, and disposal.
* Familiarity with PRISM, PeopleSoft, MIPRs, AF Form 9's, and other financial documents.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Intelligence Community; Department of Defense; and NGA Directorates.
