Your Role and Responsibilities

This position will be a combination of system / application Database Administrator (DBA) and application architect supporting ZOS mainframe applications for IBM Global financing CIO Information Technology team. The job will consist of working with business process teams and application development teams to identify, implement, and test enhancements to the Global International Customer Financing System (ICFS) and Customer Centre applications. The job will entail performance tuning, application and system upgrades, and application architecture updates. The job will involve support of development, test, and production environments and requires very strong problem determination and resolution skills. The job will require on call support and ability to lead a larger team of global DBAs.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

* Must have at least 10 years of experience as DBA for ZoS / mainframe applications with extensive knowledge of DB2 database (minimum level DB2 Version 10).
* Must have IMS and CICS knowledge of transactional processing and performance tuning.
* Knowledge of PL/1 programming and extensive JCL experience.
* Knowledge of finance and backing application development and support
* Knowledge of Cybersecurity and audit controls.
* Experienced in working in Agile squads
* Leadership - must be able to drive deployments in waves globally, working and leading global squads
* Strong Communication skills, including ability to clearly articulate designs and solutions to management
* Excellent problem determination skills

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise

* QMF for Workstation, DB2 Explain, DB2QM, DB2PM, Omegamon, PL/I, Cobol, Java, Javascript, C, C++, Assembler, Python, R, noSQL, CQL, Hive, Pig, Map Reduce, Apache Spark
* Knowledge of ZoS Sys Plex configuration and management
* Infosphere Datastage
