Requirements for Applying

Database Administrators monitor database performance, maintenance, and security; evaluate systems and suggest changes; maintain and upgrade storage area networks; install and configure servers ; provide enterprise support and backup solution; perform ongoing hardware and software maintenance and upgrades; assist in database design and management; install, research, test, and verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes; and resolve issues and restore service following system failures and outages. Fluent in the following server solutions or database design and support: • MS SQL server databases • Windows operating systems • Business Intelligence • MS Windows Active Directory, Exchange, and SharePoint • MS IIS 8+ and .NET technology Willing to work collaboratively & independently to find creative solutions for: • Security • Servers • Storage • Data protection

Education, Training and Experience: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science related field. • Three years of experience in the areas of software, operating systems such as Windows server solutions, systems hardware, data storage solutions, Business intelligence solutions, and databases.
