POSITION SUMMARY

As an integral part of the Oxford BI and Analytic team, the Data Warehouse QA Analyst will perform across full QA lifecycle on the Data Warehouse ETL, DW canned reports in SAS BI, DW tableau dashboards or any other BI suite of dashboards down the line. This position is responsible for building ETL DW QA test plans, approach, cases and scripts. Focus will be on QA testing the data warehouse (Oracle SQL, SAS BI) built using SAS Macros, Oracle Proc SQL.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Build and perform end to end QA effort on the Data Warehouse / ETL / BI platforms
* Perform QA across various canned reports and adhoc data requests from business
* QA Test Planning, test strategy, test cases, test scripting, UAT, QA reporting
* ETL Testing of mappings, transformations and data pipelines
* Data Warehouse Testing - SAS/Oracle, PL/SQL, queries, joins, select statements, stored procedures
* BI Testing of data marts, cubes, ODS, data models supporting BI Reporting and Dashboards.
* Read and comprehend requirements for testing purposes and track/analyze/resolve defects
* Meta data documentation of tables, reports and ETL mappings
* Ability to identify back-end defects and relay those back the development team
* Ability to work across multiple, concurrent projects
* Exhibit strong collaboration/interpersonal skills with project team
* Show initiative and accountability with strong time management skills
* Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

* 4+ years overall QA Testing experience - QA Project lifecycle; Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test scenarios, test cases, traceability matrix
* 4+ years of strong advanced SQL querying experience
* 4+ years of DW back end SQL/ETL testing - Oracle, SQL Server, queries, joins, select statements, ETL Informatica
* ETL/DW BI Testing - SAS BI, Oracle BI, Tableau, any BI Suite exposure
* QA Test Reporting - Defect Tracking, burn down, regression tests, coverage, bug throughput.
* Awareness of AGILE QA software development life cycle (SDLC) - backlogs, sprints, standups, burn downs
