We are looking for a Data Scientist to join the Listing Experience team. Our vision is to ensure that customers have a great buying experience, while providing Selling Partners with a friction-free listing experience. This Data Scientist will build statistical and/or machine learning models to identify key drivers of Selling Partner growth and insights to continuously improve the Selling Partner experience WW.
The ideal candidate will be excited about using data to understand and improve listing experience on Amazon. They will be curious and comfortable digging deep into data to identify how Selling Partners are interacting with our tools and systems, and designing and running experiments to identify insights that will enable us to improve our products. They will identify data to guide decisions and prioritization, and they will deliver results that help Customers and Selling Partners.
The key strategic objectives for this role include:
* Understanding drivers, impacts, and key influences on listing creation and management * Optimizing Selling Partner Listing to improve the Customer experience and grow the Amazon business * Drive actions at scale to provide increased selection and higher quality listings for customers using scientifically-based methods and decision making * Helping to build production systems that take inputs from multiple models and make decisions in real time * Automating feedback loops for algorithms in production. * Utilizing Amazon systems and tools to effectively work with terabytes of data
