Data Scientist Amazon.com's Transaction Risk Management Services (TRMS) mission is to make Amazon the safest and most trusted place worldwide to transact online. Amazon runs one of the most dynamic e-commerce marketplaces in the world, with nearly 2 million sellers worldwide selling hundreds of millions of items in ten countries. TRMS safeguards every financial transaction across all Amazon sites. As such, TRMS designs and builds the software systems, risk models and operational processes that minimize risk and maximize trust in Amazon.com.

TRMS Analytics is looking for a strong Data Scientist to join a team owning a wide array of highly impactful models and applications, providing powerful insights to thousands of users.

Proven experience driving projects independently from concept to prototype and final implementation is essential. Our team members thrive in a hands-on environment where everyone actively participates in product definition, technical architecture review, iterative development, code review, and operations.

You will need a deep mastery of programming, distributed system design, and performance. Projects are ambitious and are driven by fast paced environment, so the successful candidate will need to be somebody who enjoys being continuously challenged.
