Help create the future of advertising and digital entertainment with Amazon! It's an exciting time to be on the Video Shopping Experience (VSE) team. Our team builds the front end user interface and back end systems to power shopping videos across the Amazon site. We're looking for an extremely customer-focused Data Scientist who can help us connect customers with high-quality, relevant video content from our content providers to improve the customer shopping journey. This person will contribute creative solutions to the many opportunities that the video commerce and advertising business has to offer. If you love being customer centric, like to be creative, and are deeply analytical, this is the position for you.

As a Data Scientist with Video Shopping Experience team, you will apply scientific principles and develop innovative techniques to answer business questions related to video performance and customer engagement. Specific responsibilities include:

* Analyze complex datasets to make decisions
* Conduct scientific research projects
* Create vizualizations to drive data insights and describe an end-to-end system
* Develop scalable algorithms and models for ongoing measurement and analysis
