Job Description

Bullhorn is seeking an Data Science Engineer to work on an exciting new product line. The AI team is responsible for the science, services and platforms that power matching and recommendations, intelligent conversational workflows and advanced analytics across Bullhorn's platforms and systems.

Why this job is important:

Develop interfaces, processing pipelines and queuing for large volumes of structured and unstructured data to support recruitment use cases. Bullhorn is building out a team as part of the Enterprise Data team to jump start an effort that is focused around targeted AI and automation efforts utilizing all of the data in their data lake, with use-case-specific high volume data connectors to AWS, GCP and Azure.

As a Data Science Engineer, a typical day might include:

* Developing capabilities to move data at large scale to support machine learning models and systems in natural language processing (NLP), natural language understanding (NLU), semantic understanding, and intent classification


* Building streaming interfaces for real-time low-latency machine learning platforms that meet throughput and latency requirements


* Being hands-on in technical feature development, design and code-reviews, prototyping, including creating mock services and test data capabilities



This job might be for you if:

* Minimum Masters Degree in Engineering, ComputerScience, Mathematics, Computational Statistics, Operations Research, Machine Learning or related technical field.


* 4+ years in data science and analytics, with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP), text mining, unstructured data, etc.


* Advanced knowledge in model selection, evaluation, tuning and performance, operationalization and scalability of scientific techniques and establishing decision strategies.


* Hands-on experience developing supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms (regression,decision trees/random forest, neural networks, feature selection/reduction,clustering, parameter tuning, etc.),


* Programming skills in Python, Spark, Scala, R or MatLab, with expertise deploying to and supporting large scale cloud infrastructure


* Direct and current experience with platforms (Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS)


* Ability to work with a variety of databases (SQL, ElasticSearch, Solr, Neo4j)



Bonus points for:

* Experience with AI related frameworks (NLTK, Spacy, Scikit-Learn, Tensorflow);


* Knowledge about data privacy standards, GDPR, obfuscation, encryption and hashing
