Essential duties & responsibilities:

* Review of literature on ML algorithms in Emergency triage
* Analyze existing frequently used triage systems and extract similarities, variance and gaps
* Create a graph or network theory-based model for optimal emergency triage
* Validate the model on simulated and real data
* Support the creation of presentations to leadership to communicate data models or analysis performed

Education & special trainings:

* Completed data structures and algorithms courses
* Courses in AI / Neural Networks a plus
* Courses in statistics, calculus and/or advanced algebra a plus

Qualifications & experience:

* Currently working on completion of Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent
* Preferred Biomedical Engineering majors with Computer science minor or vice versa
* Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and also will be verified during background check
* Data science, graph and network theory experience is preferred
* Highly motivated individual who can do scientific and technical literature surveys
* Senior students are preferred
* Highly motivated Juniors with demonstrated capabilities will also be considered
