Position Summary:

Looking for an outstanding leader to Build and own data platforms across the cooperative. Drive democratization of data, making it accessible for self-service by various user groups. Drive "data as an asset" culture to enable data driven decision making. Must have recent hands-on experience and be willing to roll up sleeves when needed.

The position is located at our corporate office in Lakeville, MA. Relocation assistance is available.

A Day in the Life of the Data Platform Lead:

* Build and own operations, performance and optimization of data platforms
* Build and own instrumentation to ensure secure data collaboration and increased ease of discovery
* Help move data from legacy systems to modern data ecosystem
* Manage and govern data preparation and quality assurance with 3rd parties
* Be the engineering voice for global insights and analytics group
* Partner with product and strategy group to define data roadmap and execute
* Partner with innovation to drive agile insights into start up products with data driven platform and services
* Develop a data pod model with cross functional representation to focus, build and solve business challenges
* Stay current on industry trends and data technologies

Required Competencies:

* BA/BS in computer science or related field or equivalent relevant experience
* Minimum 5 years of related experience.
* Experience implementing modern data platforms for various hot, warm, cold data needs
* Expertise in one of the leading cloud providers: Azure, AWS or GCP
* Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, ability to evaluate fit-for-purpose data technologies
* Experience implementing streaming data platforms
* Experience exposing data assets securely as APIs, and all aspects of API management
* Solid understanding of microservices architecture pattern
* Ability to articulate data specific user stories
* Solid understanding of AI/ML technology stack and familiarity of AI/ML methodologies
* Structured and unstructured data mining, modeling, and transformations
* Familiarity of BI tools like Power BI
* CPG industry knowledge is a big plus
* Demonstrate ability to work effectively with others within a complex, fast paced organization
