Our Analytics Data/ETL team is seeking a Developer to be responsible for obtaining, processing, loading, and managing data from Anthem and other healthcare clients. We work in a fast-paced environment that is hungry for analytics and insights. Clean, timely, validated data provides the foundation for feeding our analytical needs. If you have expert ETL and developer skills, a passion for simplifying data, and a drive for perfection, this may be the role for you.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to

* Develops and executes data mining analyses.
* Uses program languages to extract data.
* Develops new and standard reports utilizing data warehouse information.
* Programs and writes queries and reports.
* Establishes and maintains strong knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, related programming languages, and data integrity issues.
* Develops and supports data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
* Conducts training on use of applications developed.

Qualifications:

* BS/BA degree. 2-3 years related analytical experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
* Experience with standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages.
* Expert SQL proficiency, including stored procedures.
* Extensive experience with relational databases and integrating multiple data sources into BI solutions.
* Understanding of ETL design and development methodologies and tools.
* Healthcare experience (e.g., medical insurance, health plan, integrated delivery network) desired.
* Majority of time will be spent programming.
