AWS Marketplace is at the intersection of Amazon's leadership in Cloud computing - the most innovative and disruptive technology movement in the last decade - and e-commerce, where Amazon brings two decades of experience and intellectual property. Customers come to AWS Marketplace to find, buy and launch thousands of software products on the Amazon Cloud.

We are looking for a creative and passionate Data Engineering manager to lead our customer insight analytics team. You will bring experience and expertise in Data Warehouse architecture, and BI solutions across a variety of platforms. You should excel in the design, creation, and management of large datasets, and have the analytical skills to answer tough questions for the business. You should have excellent technical and the communication skills to work with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to determine the optimal data architecture and promote best-practices.

A successful candidate will be uncompromisingly detail oriented, efficient, and customer obsessed. Your work must be accurate, timely, and insightful. You must be a self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will build sustainable and scalable processes, documentation, and reporting that can be leveraged across AWS Marketplace.

Build and expand the business analytics data platform for AWS Marketplace:

* Lead and manage the BIE team for AWS marketplace
* Model data and metadata to support reporting, analytics, and data science programs.
* Work with engineers and business owners to define instrumentation and data requirements.
* Find and create new data sources and ETLs to expand our analytical capabilities.

Deliver fresh analyses to drive product decisions and feature development:

* Dive deep into fuzzy problems, and answer critical business questions.
* Extract valuable insights from data to better understand our customers.
* Explain technical concepts and analysis clearly to a wide audience, including senior leadership.
