Our Information Delivery team is an exciting and fast-growing team focused on delivering data and analytics solutions while also advancing the role of emerging technologies such as Machine Learning, AI and automation to achieve business goals. Our solutions range from traditional data warehouse and BI/reporting to big data solutions and data science models.

As an Information Delivery IT manager based in Irvine, CA, you will lead teams of data engineers responsible for end to end delivery of data and analytics solutions. As a direct manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective performance and development of each team member.

Responsibilities/Essential functions:

* Coach, mentor, motivate and lead technology team and organization
* Build and maintain world-class high-performance team(s) and cultivate technological excellence, innovation, and culture of end-to-end solution ownership.
* Lead by example and be hands-on.


* Own data and advance analytics solutions across multiple business capabilities and domains
* "Integrate with our business" and partner to develop solutions to achieve strategic business outcomes
* Owns strategy and roadmaps for the end-to-end products in data and analytics portfolio
* Lead design, development , test, deployment, maintenance and support for complex data and analytics solutions
* Implement quality solutions, while proactively managing timeline, scope, cost and risks
* Monitor organizational and operational effectiveness and excellence through the use of data and metrics.
* Establish and assure adherence to solution's SLAs.


* Provide expert technical guidance to key Business and IT stakeholders
* Articulate solution options, trade-offs, risks, and alignment to business and technology/architecture strategy.
* Provide thought leadership and a subject matter expertise in current and emerging technology and business industry trends.


* Collaborate and Influence
* Partner with Business, their ITG teams and vendors to successfully deliver and run solutions.
* Partner with senior business leaders within entrusted domain(s).
* Ensure deep technology integration with Business.



Qualifications:

* Minimum of 8 years of experience managing technology teams in delivering data solutions and demonstrated track record of successfully integrating with business to deliver value from both structured and unstructured data
* Strong planning and estimation skills, and extensive experience with agile/iterative delivery
* Strong data analysis, data modelling, BI/Reporting and visualization skills
* In depth understanding of or traditional RDBMS and large scale compute platforms, like MPP RDBS, Hadoop, Spark
* Deep technical knowledge of ETL and ELT technologies and proven implementation track record, SQL, R/Python, Tableau, Alteryx
* Deep technical experience with optimizing queries/code across large data sets
* Experience with Microsoft MPP platforms, Microsoft Azure Analytics Cloud, parallel processing and tuning, large dataset storage and optimization, file ingestion/manipulations of different data types
* Experience with automating data science models, thru data engineering, model development and deployment lifecycle, tuning model across entire technology stack
* Experience in troubleshooting infrastructure bottlenecks across storage, network and compute
* Excellent leadership, interpersonal and problem solving skills with the ability to continually learn new concepts and technologies and effectively apply them
