As an experienced Technology Operations professional, your vision and initiative will drive the development of a world-class technology strategy. Leading a high performing team of creative problem solvers, you'll spearhead tactical changes that enhance processes and productivity across the firm, overseeing the optimization of existing technology solutions while developing new capabilities. Using industry best practices, you'll assess management teams and identify new business opportunities, while ensuring that information controls, plus back-up and recovery strategies, are in place across all environments. In addition to facilitating collaboration across teams internally, you'll also cultivate meaningful relationships with our global clients and business partners to deliver on strategic priorities.
As a Data Center Technology Campus Site Manager (Vice President), you will oversee a team of Leads and Engineers supporting critical Data Center infrastructure 24x7. You will have ultimate responsibility over the local Data Center technology equipment (compute, storage, network) providing operational oversight, risk and controls governance and be the key liaison between facility, security and technology support teams both locally and remote. You will be responsible for long-term planning and vision in the operations environment and work with peers from teams around the globe to drive continuous improvement across the business.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience * Proven track record of leadership roles in 24x7 operational support teams * Possess interpersonal and relationship building skills * Being obsessed about our customers experience * Demonstrated time management and able to multi-task efficiently * Willing to be a leader and provide mentorship to others * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Experience supporting enterprise-class hardware deployments * Experience with physical layer infrastructure and testing tools * Working knowledge of physical IT infrastructure (compute, network, storage) * Understanding of network concepts (switching, routing, perimeter security) * Familiarity with infrastructure applications (DNS, Active Directory, etc) * Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, AIX)
