Job Description

Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global technology and data company that builds verification, optimization, and analytics solutions for the advertising industry and we're looking for a Data Architect to join our team. If you are excited by technology that has the power to handle hundreds of thousands of transactions per second; collect tens of billions of events each day; and evaluate thousands of data-points in real-time all while responding in just a few milliseconds, then IAS is the place for you.

What you'll do:

* Lead the development, validation, publishing, and maintenance of logical and physical data models
* Work with Agile Engineering teams, Data Scientists and Product Management to understand current and future functional and non-functional requirements and to achieve project goals: delivery dates, cost objectives, quality objectives, business customer satisfaction objectives, etc.

What you'll need:

* 7+ years data integration and modeling experience in a big data setting
* In depth understanding of Data Journey (Data lineage, Data transformation, Data visualization etc)
* In-depth understanding of data integration best practices
* Excellent documentation skills: ability to produce and maintain diagrams and schematics that visualize technical solutions
* Experience designing and implementing reporting and visualization for unstructured and structured data sets
* Experience with relational and dimensional modeling
* Experience working with a variety of relational, columnar, NoSQL & graph database systems

Bonus points:

* Experience with AWS cloud services
* Knowledge of the ad-tech domain/ecosystem
