Gunnison is seeking SAS data analyst/programmers interested in working on challenging and rewarding assignments supporting our largest client. These positions offer the flexibility to find your own career path within the Gunnison organizational structure and become an integral part of a team supporting a massive data collection and analytics effort.

Location: Suitland, MD - Easily Accessible by car or Metro, free parking - teleworking opportunity 1 or 2 days a week

DATA ANALYST (SAS)

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* The positions include writing and modifying SAS code to produce complicated combinations of detailed data
* Work on cross functional team
* Collaborate with client team
* Clear communication and problem-solving ability
* Product development in an agile style environment

TECHNOLOGIES:

SAS, UNIX/LINUX, Shell scripting, SFTP

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's Degree in CS, Statistics, or applied math
* 3+ years of experience
* Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating system
* At least one scripting language to run in Unix/Linux environment
* Experience with Unix operating system.
* Experience with shell scripting
* SAS programming experience with macros, proc sql, sas data steps.
* Ability to pass a US Government Background investigation (national agency check, Secret or TS not required).

OTHER:

* SAS Certification, Korn shell scripting, Perl script, Python
* Hands on experience with Agile project
* Writing technical requirements
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
