Description:--Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Programs-

* -Skunk Works--

This position is for an experienced Durability and Damage Tolerance (DaDT) Analyst with Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works® Advanced Development Programs. The candidate will be expected to use their technical expertise to perform DaDT analysis of advanced composite and metallic structures. The candidate will have thorough knowledge in the field of aircraft DaDT and will have a broad knowledge of all related disciplines. The candidate will be responsible for preliminary and detailed analysis of aircraft structures and structural assemblies, participation in trade studies, and coordination with Integrated Product Teams.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have an active secret clearance with an investigation in the last 5 years.*

Basic Qualifications:

* - Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 5 years professional work experience, or 3 years professional work experience with a related Masters Degree
* - Aircraft Durability and Damage Tolerance (DaDT) Analysis
* - Experience working in a team environment.

Desired Skills:

* - Structural analysis hand calculation methods
* - Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
* - Airframe Stress Analysis
* - Experience using LM Aero Common Analysis Tools including IMAT/SLIM/Vision/IDAT
* - Experience with MSC NASTRAN/PATRAN
* - Fully versed in metallic and composite analysis
* - Familiarity with CATIA V5
* - Understanding of drawing practices, material properties, and manufacturing processes
* - Excellent writing and communication skills
* - Leadership skills
