Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for developing and implementing enterprise information cyber security solutions to address the current & emerging security challenges; serving as a cybersecurity solutions engineer the individual would be responsible for developing and operationalizing wide-array of cyber security & defense capabilities ranging from Network & Perimeter Security down to core data security; the immediate focus area for the individual would be developing robust designs & solutions to secure HCSC's Cloud Operating environment which would include internal Cloud, Cloud Service Providers, and SaaS-based applications;
What you'll do:
Responsibility for design and implementation of the tooling/controls/ configuration to secure the cloud operating platform
Collaborate within HCSC's engineering and architecture teams to build & leverage enterprise security methodologies/solutions to ensure platform, application and data confidentiality, integrity and availability
Collaborate with Enterprise, Cyber, Application, and Infrastructure Architects to build robust & secure architectures & patterns to secure cloud workloads.
Design, implement and operationalize end-to-end cloud workload protection capabilities.
Lead the implementation & integration of security controls into cloud workloads while working towards automated integration of security controls into the deployment stack.
Contribute towards developing standards and leading security practices
Contribute towards security awareness and training with other engineering teams to foster a culture of security on every team
Become a foundational member of the HCSC's Cybersecurity team, setting the course for security within HCSC for years to come
Assist HCSC project teams as necessary to adhere to enterprise and IT security policies and standards, industry regulations, and best practices; leading assigned design and implementation work efforts for integrating the service capability with diverse HCSC IT network, platforms and applications; executing service delivery tasks against defined processes and conducts service improvement activities across people, process, technology and information.
Skills:
Technical "must have" skills:
Scripting or coding experience (e.g., Java, Python, .Net, PowerShell) - Application Development Background
CI/CD pipeline experience (e.g., Jenkins, Concourse, Nexus)
Automation experience with Ansible/ Terraform
Extensive knowledge and successful & demonstrable experience with Azure Cloud
In particular, Azure Key Vault.
Knowledge and experience with Azure Resource Management (ARM) templates
Good understanding & experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Good experience with enterprise encryption methodologies & capabilities, both symmetric and asymmetric
Working knowledge of virtual machine (and container) technology (e.g., VMware, Docker)
Required Job Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree and 5 years of experience in engineering/administering security solutions.
* Understanding of security architecture development and implementation of infrastructure/network and multi-platform environments. Requires knowledge of security principles, issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms.
* Understanding of software &systems development lifecycle.
* Written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively present technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
* Knowledge of and familiarity with industry laws and regulations mandating information security and information risk management requirements (HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, GLB).
* Experience working in process driven structured environments, process optimization activities, etc
Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Bachelors OR Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields. Or equivalent work experience.
* Knowledge or experience with Azure Key Vault, policy management, Security monitoring, storage, PCF etc
