Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous cybersecurity specialist to join our growing team. The Cybersecurity Engineer Role is a position providing an opportunity to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment defending Data Management Inc.s vast cloud infrastructure from current and future cyber threats. Data Management Inc. treats security as the number one priority due to its significant effect on consumer privacy, customer confidence, and external reputation. This position plays a critical role in delivering that vision through continuous threat analysis, the implementation of DevSecOps processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Cybersecurity Engineers must be agile, willing to learn, and able to think outside of the box in order to operate effectively in an ever-changing threat landscape.

Basic Function of Position:

* Leads the evaluation, development, and recommendation of specific technology products and platforms to provide cost-effective solutions that meet business and technology requirements
* Develops, creates, and drives current and new reporting methods of Intelligence analysis to peers and leadership teams for purposes of situational awareness and making Intelligence actionable
* Drives support for the Threat Management Center during incident response and threat monitoring activities to include intelligence context and analysis support, provide industry expertise and recommend relevant remediation and countermeasures
* Provides leadership in assessing new threat vectors, evaluating the effectiveness of current controls and utilizing intelligence analysis to create proactive mitigation around threats and vulnerabilities.
* Work side-by-side with DevOps team to promote DevSecOps processes, leading by example to change existing systems and practices for the better, allowing all functions to do more with existing resources
* Build, deploy and operate a wide range of robust, available, repeatable, fit-for-purpose and scaled security tools and services, in a developing Cloud-first culture
* Monitors developments within the application security industry to ensure internal policies, procedures, tools, and training reflect current trends and methods such as those published by OWASP
* Work closely and collaboratively with SaaS Operations, Development, and Business leadership to ensure adherence to developing standards and technical integration with cloud infrastructure

Required/Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Bachelors degree in computer science, MIS, or Information Security or equivalent work experience
* At least 5 or more years of relevant work experience
* CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security certifications
* Experience in secured Public Cloud architectures and engineering solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure)
* Experience conducting regular system security audits in support of compliance (SOC2, SOC3, GDPR, FedRAMP) reporting to Data Protection leadership
* Experience with cyber threat intelligence, security research, security operations and/or incident response
* Strong communication and presentation skills along with the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
* Experience developing or revising system-specific security safeguards and local operating procedures that are based on relevant guidelines and regulations
* Demonstrated experience with NIST SP 800-37, Rev 1.0, NIST SP 800-53 Rev 4, NIST SP 800-137 and FedRAMP approaches
* Demonstrated effective organizational and technical skills
* Manages multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
* Critical thinking skills, problem-solving aptitude
* A forensic approach to challenges
* Desire to self-educate on the ever-changing landscape of cyber hacking tactics
