Required skills/experience: network technologies and applications with seasoned understanding of security/CI issues; AWS cloud-computing and C2S; Storage Area Networks (SAN) to include design, provisioning, capacity planning and maintenance; network design (WAN/LAN) to include Disaster Recovery (DR); experience evaluating hardware/software products against customer requirements to technical and security/CI evaluation; hands on experience designing, engineering, implementing and maintaining COTS/GOTS applications.Desired skills/experience: shell scripting; MS SQL experience along with familiarity with Oracle 10g/11g and mySQL; Windows 7, 8, 10, 2008R2, 2012, 2012R2, 2016 and System Center; Linux, ESX and OSX, CI examination tools such as Encase, FTK, XRY, Cellebrite and Macquisition on sponsor communication systems; experience with Wireshark, Nessus, WebInspect and AppDetective; HP server and HP Blade chassis; experience with planning/design/implementation of Cisco routers, switches and wireless networking, VPN's, Firewalls and network security; provide recommendations on architecture and design reviewsDesired certifications: VMWare and MCSE

Sponsor is seeking expertise to support the design, engineering, implementation and maintenance for mission systems/networks, and applications for technology and cyber related investigations. Candidate responsibilities include:* Provide recommendations for end-to-end technical CI analysis* Conduct network or networking technology CI assessments as well as security assessments of network and system topologies* Document findings in a formal risk assessment report* Support external customer projects by providing network engineering and cyber security/CI analytic expertise and guidance to ensure the projects comply with Sponsor policy and regulation* Provide recommendations to architecture and design reviews* Provide insight into latest threats and countermeasures* Evaluate network operations using network management platforms, auditing functions, and log reviews* Review procurement processes of hardware, software and services to comply with Sponsor needs* Attend working groups and customer/mission partner meetingsLocal travel between McLean and other Northern VA locations will be required as necessary

Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction
