JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role is within the Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM) organization, responsible for Abbott's enterprise-level cybersecurity governance policies, procedures and standards to meet leaders' objectives. The person will understand Abbott's business and cyber risks and craft strategies to reduce those risks. They will liaise with Abbott divisions and affiliates to understand them and their differences, and the effects of cybersecurity on those divisions. They will proactively monitor the legal and regulatory environment for recent developments. This position will require experience with risk management technologies (e.g., GRC solutions) that enable a seamless and efficient process to manage strategy, risk and governance across the enterprise. This position will support cybersecurity operations by designing, developing and recommending risk solutions including policy, standards, applications, systems, architectures, frameworks, and infrastructure that are operationally viable and efficient.

Main Responsibilities:

* Contribute to the development of a risk-based cyber security program which meets regulatory requirements and aligns with industry leading information security practices.
* Support the advancement of the Company's manufacturing security program to ensure consistent identification, analysis, response, and monitoring of cyber risks
* Guide business units, manufacturing teams, and system owners to achieve program requirements while enabling the business.
* Apply knowledge to protect the Company against cyber risks (e.g., knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, data loss prevention solutions, endpoint protections, log aggregation technology and other leading-edge security technologies).
* Participate in cross-team coordination to achieve defined security goals as well as meet technical requirements in support of detailed implementation plans for security projects.
* Contribute subject matter expertise on security projects to ensure the timely, on budget, and effective implementation of cyber security improvements
* Support management in the development of strategies, policy and standards to protect company information and technology assets.

Minimum Education/Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
* 3-5 years of experience in relevant field

Preferred Experience

* Possess CISSP/CISM, ITIL, certification (or similar) and be knowledge of national and international regulatory compliance and framework
* Project management certification(PMP) is also preferred. Strong business acumen and a solid foundation in cybersecurity, including change management and project management experience.
