The Raytheon IIS Hardware & Infrastructure Engineering (HW&I) team is seeking individuals with expertise in cybersecurity infrastructure build automation to join our team. The qualified candidates will have a background in both cybersecurity tools and infrastructure automation via scripting and DevOps tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible. They will be responsible for the creation of Chef automation recipes and cookbooks to deploy cybersecurity software tools and harden system security configurations. Some travel (<25%) may be required for installation and troubleshooting support at customer sites. An existing US Government TS/SCI clearance is required for these positions.

Clearance Requirements:

Must be a U.S. CITIZEN with the an active US Government TS/SCI security clearance.

NOTE: $20K Sign on Bonus for current TS/SCI Clearance.

This is a PIPELINE requisition with designated work locations in Richardson, TX or Aurora, CO

Required Skills:

* 5+ years experience writing scripts for automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible to perform operating system configuration updates as well as to install and configure software
* Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and common toolsets
* 4+ years experience with Linux system administration
* 4+ years of scripting skills in languages such as Python, Perl, Ruby, or PowerShell
* Experience performing COTS software installations
* Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

* Experience with the VMware virtualization suite of tools - vCenter, ESXi, vSphere
* Knowledge of Change Management processes and tools

Required Education:

6 years with a BS in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or related technical degree; 4 years with a MS in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or related technical degree.
