As an applications engineer in the Defense and Aerospace division Customer Support Group, you will:
* Play a key role in the product development process including involvement in customer opportunities and problem solving * Serve as a contributor in a software and product test group, developing applications and test cases to support Instruments and integrated test systems. * Design sophisticated analog and digital test interfaces • Provide technical support in product demonstrations * Stay on top of rapid changes in technology, assess the ramifications of these changes, advocate solutions, and support new product development * Develop training material for our Customer and Field Team to support our products * Lead customer escalations - communicate with customer management and engineering as well as Teradyne management team., Sales and Marketing * Lead technical escalations - resolution plan and deployment * Take Customer VOC for future action * Breakthrough roadblocks in Engineering resources for Critical/High issues

* Bachelor's degree (BSEE, ECE, CS) * Automatic Test Equipment knowledge preferred * Detailed knowledge of software test techniques, case modeling and automated test techniques required * Experience creating test program sets using C, C++, and/or C# required * Experience with software development environments in Microsoft .Net, National Instruments CVI, and Visual Studio preferred * Experience with Verilog or VHDL programming preferred * Ability to work with spreadsheets and Microsoft Office products required * Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are needed to succeed in this position * Qualified applicants Must meet ITAR requirements.
